Payment Processing
ExplaraX utilizes recognized, ethical, and approved Payment Gateway Service Providers for processing all transactions. These payments are securely processed using the payment gateway providers' advanced SSL encryption technology, ensuring the utmost protection for your financial data.
Security Measures
ExplaraX implements robust security measures to protect your financial data. All payment transactions are encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols. Our payment gateways are PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant, and we utilize multi-layer security authentication for payment processing, including secure tokenization of payment information.
What We Don't Store: We prioritize your privacy and security by ensuring that sensitive payment information is never stored on our servers. This includes, but is not limited to, credit card numbers, debit card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, bank account numbers, PINs or passwords, and complete card details.
How Payment Processing Works
Your payment request is handled directly by our trusted payment gateway provider, which employs end-to-end encryption. Authorization for the transaction comes from your designated bank or card issuer. The entire process is securely managed, ensuring that ExplaraX does not store any sensitive payment data on its servers.
Payment Methods
ExplaraX supports multiple payment processing options to provide flexibility and convenience for all users. Our platform seamlessly integrates with major credit and debit card providers, ensuring secure and swift transactions. In addition to traditional card payments, we also accommodate modern digital wallet solutions, allowing for quick and efficient payments through services like Apple Pay and Google Pay. For larger transactions or specific regional preferences, direct bank transfers are also supported, processed with the highest standards of security and compliance to ensure your financial data remains protected throughout the entire payment journey.
1. Direct Payment Collection (DPC)
Under the Direct Payment Collection (DPC) option, payments are collected directly by event organizers, community managers, or product sellers. ExplaraX does not handle the funds or process transactions under this option. Consequently, all refund requests must be directed to the respective organizer or seller. For complete terms and conditions regarding DPC, please refer to Section 3.3.1 of our Terms of Service.
2. Payment Gateway Processing
Payments are processed through our trusted payment gateway partners, with ExplaraX collecting payments on behalf of organizers or sellers. Funds are then transferred to organizers within 5 business days, after applicable fees have been deducted. This process is subject to our standard refund and chargeback policies. 3. Payment Links
Our secure, one-time payment links are designed for digital products and services. These links are processed through our trusted payment gateway partners, ensuring full encryption and maintaining the same high security standards as all other payment methods.
Payment Refunds
This section provides important information regarding payment refunds for event attendees, members, and product buyers.
Event/Membership/Product Refunds: We currently do not handle refunds on behalf of event organizers, community managers, or product sellers. Refund policies are entirely set by individual organizers or sellers.
If you need a refund: Please contact the event organizer, community manager, or product seller directly. It is essential to review their specific refund policy on the respective event, membership, or product page, as all refund requests must be directed to them.
Failed Payment/Unsuccessful Transaction: If your payment was processed, but you did not receive your ticket, membership access, or digital product, we are here to help. We will support you by providing relevant transaction information, forward your request to our payment gateway providers, and assist in investigating the failed transaction. If the payment was deducted but the purchase failed, we will help facilitate resolution.
For Event Organizers, Community Managers, and Product Sellers
ExplaraX Service Refund Policy:
Full Cancellation by ExplaraX: If ExplaraX cancels your service subscription in its entirety without any cause, we will refund you on a pro-rata basis the amount of your payment corresponding to the portion of your service remaining right before such cancellation.
Standard Policy: All payments made to ExplaraX for services are non-refundable. This includes any one-time setup fees and subsequent charges, regardless of usage. We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused features, and cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of already-paid subscription fees.
Billing Disputes: All overcharges or billing disputes must be reported within 30 days of the time the dispute occurred. Please contact support@explarax.com with transaction details, and we will investigate and resolve legitimate billing errors.
Chargeback Warning: If you dispute a charge to your credit card issuer that, in ExplaraX's sole discretion, is a valid charge under the provisions of the Terms of Service, you agree to pay ExplaraX an "Administrative Fee" to cover processing costs.
Chargebacks
For Buyers/Members: Chargebacks should only be initiated for fraudulent transactions or unauthorized charges. If you have a legitimate dispute about service delivery, please contact the organizer or seller first. For the complete chargeback policy, refer to Terms of Service Section 5.2. Be aware that initiating unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension.
For Organizers/Sellers: Please note that under payment gateway processing, chargebacks initiated by buyers are charged back to you. You are responsible for responding to these chargeback disputes, as ExplaraX is not responsible for their resolution. To minimize chargeback risk, it is important to maintain clear refund policies. Currency Conversion and International Payments
Currency Fluctuations: For international transactions, currency conversion occurs in real-time. It's important to note that exchange rates are determined by international markets, not by ExplaraX, and users may observe rate fluctuations during or after the transaction. Furthermore, your card-issuing bank may apply additional foreign transaction fees.
Buyer Responsibility: The buyer is liable for the currency conversion rates applicable at the time of the transaction, any additional charges levied by their card-issuing bank, and international transaction fees, if applicable.
Payment Security Best Practices
To Protect Your Payments: Adhering to best practices in payment security is crucial for safeguarding your transactions and personal information on ExplaraX. This involves several key areas, from verifying legitimacy to protecting your login details.
Verify Event/Membership/Product Legitimacy: Before proceeding with any payment, always check the organizer or seller profiles and their ratings to ensure credibility. Carefully review all event, membership, or product details. Look for verified badges or indicators that confirm the legitimacy of the offering.
Use Secure Connections: It is vital to always access ExplaraX through a secure HTTPS connection. Avoid conducting payment transactions while connected to public Wi-Fi networks, as these can be unsecure. Furthermore, regularly update your device's operating system and your web browser to ensure you have the latest security features.
Monitor Your Accounts: Maintain vigilance by regularly reviewing your bank and credit card statements for any unauthorized or suspicious activity. Should you detect anything unusual, report it immediately to your financial institution. It's also good practice to keep all transaction confirmations and receipts for your records.
Protect Your Login: Strengthen your account security by using strong, unique passwords that are difficult to guess. If available, enable two-factor authentication for an added layer of protection. Never share your ExplaraX credentials with anyone. If you are using a shared or public device, always remember to log out after completing your transactions.

ExplaraX partners with reputable, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway providers that meet international security standards. Our payment partners employ advanced fraud detection systems, real-time transaction monitoring, secure data encryption, and regular security audits and compliance checks.
Reporting Payment Issues

When reporting an issue, we kindly request that you include the following information for a quicker resolution: the transaction date and time, the transaction ID or reference number, the amount charged, a clear description of the issue you are experiencing, and any relevant screenshots if applicable.
Response Time: We aim to respond to all payment-related inquiries within 24-48 hours to address your concerns promptly.
Transparency and Fees
Fee Disclosure: All ExplaraX service fees are clearly disclosed before any transaction is completed. Event organizers, community managers, and product sellers are responsible for setting their own prices. Any applicable payment gateway fees are transparently shown during the checkout process, ensuring that there are no hidden charges or surprise fees for our users.
Fee Breakdown: When utilizing ExplaraX services, the total fees may comprise several components. These typically include the ExplaraX service/platform fee, which is detailed on our dedicated pricing page. Additionally, there may be a payment gateway processing fee if a gateway option is selected, and for international transactions, currency conversion fees may apply, as charged directly by the banks involved.

Compliance and Legal
ExplaraX payment processing adheres to a comprehensive set of standards and regulations to ensure security and legality.
